  • This was a moving experience, a beautiful chapel commemorating a terrible loss. There are steps up to the chapel but it was manageable. Well signposted. Highly recommended. Note that there is a...

  • There’s not a tour or anything, but the story behind the chapel is compelling. We only stayed about 15 minutes to walk around a bit, but some people were listening to a audio explanation.

  • Special place that you must see. It has really high historical meaning and also it looks beautiful! In the middle of nature going towards Vršič. Be careful - park on the places where it’s allowed
  • After getting there and the road was closed due to snow, we decided to hike up the road to the chapel. The chapel itself is pretty disappointing, there was no seating after our long walk, and it’s not actually much to see itself. However, the walk there (as tiring as it was) made it worth it. The views were incredible, albeit this had nothing to do with the chapel (hence the 3* for the chapel itself). Would definitely recommend visiting the Pass but don’t bother with the chapel itself
