  • We visited Magical world of shells museum with our school on a field trip. The place was really small, but the collection was the biggest one I have ever seen. I really liked the whole experience...

  • Small museum with a large and unique collection of shellfish and knowledgeable helpful staff! It was interesting to stop by for an hour or so! Eur 10 entrance for a family of four and paid in cash. Unluckily the shelf description is all in local language and you get a file with numbers for a description in English which was not always easy to following but still highly recommended!
  • This was one of my favourite museums in Slovenia. The displays of maritime archaeology were creative and unique, I really enjoyed these. I also found that this was the only museum of the 8 or so in Slovenia that any information on their Yugoslav past which was fascinating.
