Create an itinerary including Tolmin Gorge
Trek around Tolmin Gorge to discover its many natural features, including the Bear's Head, a fallen moss-covered rock stuck between its walls like a bridge. The gorge is the lowest entry point into Triglav National Park. Devil's Bridge, a steel bridge that replaced an older wooden one from 1907, shelters a small cave with a thermal spring. At the entrance, get a map and inquire where to go. Wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water and food. The scenery along the gorge features many wet, dark tunnels, crossings, rapids, and waterfalls. Notice the green-blue color of the crystal clear water, the result of its mineral content. • Lovely colours. It is really beatiful in nature in Slovenia. The path is nice and accesible also with small children.

  • A beautiful part of Slovenia and a stunning gorge walk. The waters are the most incredible blue colour and there are plenty of opportunities for incredible photos. The paths are easy to follow...

  • Really beautiful walk along the gorge with a lot to see. I can't give five states to a place that charges so much money for people to see nature. 8 euros is way to much to charge. All people should be able to experience nature's wonders. This price is too high for many people to afford.
  • As always, it's best to visit tourist attraction during the off season, which we did. It was totally worth it - the price was lower (6 euros) and the parking was free. There were barely any people and it was really relaxing and enjoyable. Well worth the visit!
