10 days in Ljubljana & Bled Area Itinerary

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.

Venture out of the city with trips to Lepa Vida Boutique Winery (in Šempas), Postojna (Tourist Information Centre - Galerija, Predjama Castle, &more) and Škocjan Caves (in Škocjan). Majorca, Spain to Ljubljana is an approximately 9-hour flight. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Majorca in July; daily highs in Ljubljana reach 32°C and lows reach 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Fri) so you can drive to Bled.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bled: Vršič Pass (in Kranjska Gora), Soča Valley (in Bovec) and Bohinjsko Jezero (Lake Bohinj & Vogel). Spend the 12th (Wed) exploring nature at Triglav National Park.
