Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
On the 25th (Sat), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St Peter, take in the exciting artwork at Tartini's House, and then make a trip to Tartini Square. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 26th (Sun): admire the striking features of Praetorian Palace, then explore the fascinating underground world of Škocjan Caves, then make a trip to Walls of Piran, and finally kick back and relax at Portorož Beach.

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Get out of town with these interesting Ljubljana side-trips: Postojna (Predjama Castle & Postojna Cave). There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Ljubljana Old Town, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of St. Nicholas, explore the historical opulence of Ljubljana Castle, and snap pictures at Triple Bridge.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
