Get out of town with these interesting Piran side-trips: Lipica Stud Farm (in Lipica) and Škocjan Caves (in Škocjan). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Tartini Square, kick back and relax at Strunjan Nature Reserve, pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Portorož Beach.
