Get some historical perspective at Bled Castle and Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Get a sense of the local culture at Old Town Centre of Radovljica and Ljubljana Old Town. Budapest, Hungary to Ljubljana is an approximately 4.5-hour car ride. You can also take a shuttle; or take a bus. In August, daily temperatures in Ljubljana can reach 31°C, while at night they dip to 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sun) so you can go by car to Piran.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Start off your visit on the 23rd (Mon): don't miss a visit to Tartini Square, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. George's Church, then get curious at Magical World of Shells Museum, then pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, and finally don't miss a visit to Walls of Piran.

Traveling by car from Ljubljana to Piran takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus.
