Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Hg Smeltery and Gewerkenegg Castle. Visiting Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Nature & Wildlife Tours will get you outdoors. There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Ljubljana Old Town and step into the grandiose world of Ljubljana Castle.

Ibiza Town, Spain to Ljubljana is an approximately 8.5-hour combination of flight and shuttle. You can also fly; or do a combination of ferry and bus. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Ibiza Town in August: high temperatures in Ljubljana hover around 31°C and lows are around 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Mon) so you can go by car to Litija.

Litija is a town in the Litija Basin in central Slovenia. Kick off your visit on the 9th (Mon): explore the historical opulence of Bogenšperk Castle, go for a walk through Pristava Tourist Village, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Stična Abbey.

Known for its Lipizzaner horses, Lipica is nevertheless more than just a horse lover's heaven.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Tue): view the masterpieces at Avgust Cernigoj Gallery, then visit the horses at Lipica Stud Farm, and then see the interesting displays at Lipizzan Museum Lipikum. On the 11th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: learn about all things military at Military Museum Tabor, try to win big at Grand Casino Lipica, and then play a few rounds at Golf Klub Lipica.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Kranjska Gora — 2 nights
