Bovec — 2 nights

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Kids will enjoy Kayaking & Canoeing and Zipline. Venture out of the city with trips to Lepa Vida Boutique Winery (in Šempas) and Solkan Bridge (in Solkan). Bohinjsko Jezero — 2 nights

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
On the 15th (Tue), admire the sheer force of Savica Waterfall, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vogel, then get outside with Outdoor Activities, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bohinj. On the 16th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the sheer force of Slap Grmečica, then shake up your sightseeing with a climbing tour, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Planina Zajamniki, and finally trek along Golden Horn Fairyland.

Getting from Bovec to Bohinjsko Jezero by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 28°C in August, and nighttime lows around 14°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Wed) so you can go by car to Ljubljana.

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
