Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Cross Cave and Lipizzan Museum Lipikum. Venture out of the city with trips to Snežnik Castle (in Stari Trg pri Lozu), Avgust Cernigoj Gallery (in Lipica) and Lake Bloke (in Nova Vas).
