Ljubljana — 2 nights

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Visiting Parasailing & Paragliding and Ljubljanica River will get you outdoors. Visit Cathedral of St. Nicholas and Ljubljana Castle for their historical value. Change things up with a short trip to Vintgar Gorge in Zgornje Gorje (about 54 minutes away). There's still lots to do: hunt for treasures at Odprta Kuhna, wander the streets of Ljubljana Old Town, and take in the views from Triple Bridge.

A bridge between the Mediterranean and alpine regions of Slovenia, Koper is a small town with big appeal.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Loza Gallery and Olive Oil Morgan. Bring the kids along to St. George's Church and Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower. Venture out of the city with trips to Postojna (Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle). The adventure continues: identify plant and animal life at Strunjan Nature Reserve, enjoy the sand and surf at Koper City Beach, get into the urban bustle at Kidrič Street, and make a trip to Tartini Square.
