The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Get out of town with these interesting Bled side-trips: Logar Valley Landscape Park (in Solčava), Velika Planina (in Stahovica) and Plansarsko Jezero (in Zgornje Jezersko). Spend the 15th (Tue) exploring nature at Triglav National Park. Berlin, Germany to Bled is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In August, daytime highs in Bled are 31°C, while nighttime lows are 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sat) so you can drive to Bovec.
