History buffs can spend their entire Kamnik vacation soaking in the town's medieval appeal at two castles, monastery, and lively streets packed with artisanal workshops.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Logar Valley Landscape Park and Žiče Charterhouse. Get in touch with nature at Hell Cave and Krvavec. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kamnik: Celje Forest Tree House (in Celje), St. Jacob Church (in Škofja Loka) and Kranj (Pungert & Brdo Castle). There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Bogenšperk Castle, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Velika Planina, steep yourself in history at Little Castle, and take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Ana's Church on Ledinica.
