Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
On the 2nd (Fri), take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, then enjoy the sand and surf at Strunjan Nature Reserve, then Head underground at Škocjan Caves, and finally step into the grandiose world of Socerb Castle. Keep things going the next day: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, take in the waterfront at Port Piran, then get a new perspective on nature at Magical World of Shells Museum, and finally make a trip to Tartini Square.
