Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Ljubljana is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. When traveling from Amsterdam in June, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Ljubljana: temperatures range from 29°C by day to 14°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Sat) so you can drive to Portorož.

Portorož — 2 nights

A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
On the 25th (Sun), get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, enjoy the sand and surf at Svetilnik Beach, then explore the fascinating underground world of Škocjan Caves, and finally admire the striking features of Casa Veneziana. Drive from Ljubljana to Portorož in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Ljubljana in June, expect a bit warmer with lows of 18°C in Portorož. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Bohinjsko Jezero.
