Bohinjsko Jezero — 2 nights

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Sun): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vogel and then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bohinj. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Old Town Centre of Radovljica and then take in the awesome beauty at Mount Triglav.

Traveling by car from Ljubljana to Bohinjsko Jezero takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Expect a daytime high around 26°C in June, and nighttime lows around 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Portorož.

A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
Kick off your visit on the 7th (Tue): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hrastovlje Church of the Holy Trinity, learn about winemaking at Vinakoper, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St. Francis of Assisi, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and finally don't miss a visit to Walls of Piran.
