Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Tivoli Park and National Museum of Contemporary History. Take a break from Ljubljana with a short trip to Old Town Centre of Radovljica in Radovljica, about 44 minutes away. Spend the 10th (Sat) on a tasty journey with a beer tour and tasting.
