Dobrovo

Near the Italian border, Dobrovo remains a small settlement in a region known for its hilly orchards, vineyards, and olive groves.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Dobrovo: Anthony's Shaft Mining Museum (in Idrija), Postojna (Toplar Double Hayrack & Predjama Castle) and Lake Petelinje (in Pivka). Bovec

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Attractions like Lake Jasna and Vršič Pass make great kid-friendly stops. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bovec: Tolmin Gorge (in Tolmin) and The Russian Chapel (in Kranjska Gora). Novo Mesto is the city on a bend of the Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia. Start off your visit on the 11th (Wed): step into the grandiose world of Brežice Castle, relax and rejuvenate at Terme Čatež, and then see the sky in a new way at Planetarium in Sfericni Kino Astroport 360.
