The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Sat): hike along Triglav National Park. Keep things going the next day: take in the dramatic natural features at Vintgar Gorge, then step off the mainland to explore Bled Island, then step into the grandiose world of Bled Castle, and finally fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour.

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Bring the kids along to Zipline and Soča Valley. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Bovec: Tolmin Gorge (in Tolmin) and Lepa Vida Boutique Winery (in Šempas). There's lots more to do: get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, don't miss a visit to Italian Charnel House, examine the collection at Kobarid Museum, and pause for some serene contemplation at St Mary of the Assumption church.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Start off your visit on the 23rd (Fri): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Anne's Friary, tour the stables at Lipica Stud Farm, then explore the fascinating underground world of Škocjan Caves, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, and finally don't miss a visit to Port Piran. On the next day, make a trip to Tartini Square, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, then get a new perspective on nature at Magical World of Shells Museum, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Portorož Beach, and finally make a trip to Walls of Piran.
