The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
On the 6th (Mon), ski along the peaceful trails at Planica Nordic Centre & Zipline, appreciate the views at Zgornjesavska Valley, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Zelenci Nature Reserve. On your second day here, get a dose of the wild on Great Emerald Adventure, savor the flavors at Wine Tasting Bled, and then look for gifts at Treasures of Slovenia Bled.

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Step off the beaten path and head to Boka Waterfall and Mangart Saddle. Escape the urban bustle at Koseč Gorges and Golf Club Bovec. Explore Bovec's surroundings by going to Planica Valley (in Rateče), Sabotin - Peace Park (in Kojsko) and Scurek (in Dobrovo). Next up on the itinerary: trek along Krampež Waterfall, pause for some serene contemplation at St Mary of the Assumption church, steep yourself in history at Ravelnik Open Air Museum, and sample the tasty concoctions at Thirsty River Brewing.
