12 days in Ljubljana & Maribor Itinerary

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.

Venture out of the city with trips to Bled (Bled Island, Bled Castle, &more), Vinakras Sežana (in Sežana) and Bovec (Zipline & Soča Valley). There's lots more to do: take a stroll through Ljubljana Old Town, indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour, walk around Tivoli Park, and snap pictures at Dragon Bridge.

Berlin, Germany to Ljubljana is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In June, daytime highs in Ljubljana are 29°C, while nighttime lows are 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Sat) early enough to take a shuttle to Maribor.
