You can drive from Ljubljana to Bled in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In March, daytime highs in Bled are 14°C, while nighttime lows are 0°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sat) so you can go by car to Piran.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.

Explore Piran's surroundings by going to Šmartno (in Kojsko), Lipica Stud Farm (in Lipica) and Škocjan Caves (in Škocjan). You can drive from Bled to Piran in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Expect somewhat warmer evenings in Piran when traveling from Bled in March, with lows around 5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Tue) early enough to go by car back home.
