On the 6th (Fri), enjoy the sand and surf at Strunjan Nature Reserve, then Head underground at Škocjan Caves, and then identify plant and animal life at Škocjanski Zatok Nature Reserve. On your second day here, don't miss a visit to Walls of Piran, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, then get a new perspective on nature at Magical World of Shells Museum, and finally make a trip to Tartini Square.

Drive from Ljubljana to Piran in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus.
