The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.Attractions like Triglav National Park and Parasailing & Paragliding make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting Bled side-trips: Vršič Pass (in Kranjska Gora) and Bohinjsko Jezero (Lake Bohinj & Vogel). There's still lots to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Vintgar Gorge, step into the grandiose world of Bled Castle, head off the coast to Bled Island, and kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks.

Barcelona, Spain to Bled is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or drive. Traveling from Barcelona in August, expect slightly colder with lows of 15°C in Bled. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Fri) early enough to drive to Mojstrana.

You can drive from Mojstrana to Kobarid in 2 hours. Another option is to take a bus. In August, plan for daily highs up to 28°C, and evening lows to 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Tue) to allow time to drive to Ljubljana.
