The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Visiting Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Bohinjsko Jezero (Vogel, Lake Bohinj, &more), Ljubljana (Ljubljanica River, Triple Bridge, &more) and Soča Valley (in Bovec). There's still lots to do: head off the coast to Bled Island, trek along with Amigo Outdoor Adventures Agency, get great views at Straža Bled, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Martin's Parish Church.
