The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Parasailing & Paragliding and Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary. Bled Castle and Bled Island will appeal to history buffs. Explore Bled's surroundings by going to Rateče (Planica Valley & Planica Nordic Centre & Zipline). And it doesn't end there: whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, take some stellar pictures from Ojstrica, indulge your senses at Wine Tasting Bled, and trek along Vintgar Gorge.

You can take a train from Bled to Tolmin in 1.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Bled in July, expect somewhat warmer with lows of 20°C in Tolmin. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Ljubljana.
