Kranj — 2 nights

The capital of Slovenia's Alps, Kranj allows you to stand with one foot in the nature and another in a town that's both a cultural center and a base for outdoor activities.
Venture out of the city with trips to Velika Planina (in Stahovica), Kobarid (Kobarid Museum & Kozjak Waterfall) and Logar Valley Landscape Park (in Solčava). There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Old Town Centre of Radovljica, contemplate the waterfront views at Plansarsko Jezero, make a trip to Tunnels Under Old Kranj, and pause for some serene contemplation at Church of the Holy Cross.

Železniki — 2 nights

Bohinjsko Jezero — 3 nights

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
Take a break from Bohinjsko Jezero with a short trip to Predjama Castle in Postojna, about 1h 15 min away. And it doesn't end there: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vogel, get outside with Prsivec, examine the collection at Museum of Alpine Dairy Farming, and explore the activities along Lake Bohinj.

Portorož — 5 nights

A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
Get out of town with these interesting Portorož side-trips: Triglav National Park (in Bled), Postojna Cave (in Postojna) and Škocjan Caves (in Škocjan).
