Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Visit Cankarjevo Nabrežje and City Museum of Ljubljana for their historical value. Appreciate the collections at Škofja Loka Castle and National Museum of Contemporary History. Piran

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at First of May Square and Muda Gate. Military Museum Tabor and Koper Regional Museum will appeal to museum buffs. Next up on the itinerary: make a trip to Church of St. Maurus, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa di San Rocco/ Cerkev sv. Kobarid

At the very heart of picturesque Soca Valley, Kobarid delivers some of the most stunning views of Slovenia's highest peaks, as well as a chance to enjoy some exciting alpine rivers.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Fri): walk around Sabotin Park Miru, then head outdoors with Magma X, then learn about winemaking at Lepa Vida Boutique Winery, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at St Mary of the Assumption church.
