Bohinjsko Jezero — 1 night

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Thu): tour the pleasant surroundings at Vogel, then fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bohinj. Here are some ideas for day two: get engrossed in the history at Oplen House Museum, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St John the Baptist, then take in the dramatic scenery at Mostnica Gorge, then admire the sheer force of Savica Waterfall, and finally take some stellar pictures from Prsivec.

On the 28th (Sat), explore the activities along Soča Valley and then add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour. Nova Gorica — 3 nights

A trip to Nova Gorica takes you to the land between the Alps and the sea.
Step out of the city life by going to Škocjan Caves and Magma X. Venture out of the city with trips to Winery Tilia Estate (in Dobravlje), Boris Lisjak Winery (in Dutovlje) and Vino Zorz (in Slap). There's lots more to do: do a tasting at Lepa Vida Boutique Winery, take in the views from Solkan Bridge, and make a trip to Šmartno.
