Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Parasailing & Paragliding and Union Experience. Step out of the city life by going to Zipline and Ljubljanica River. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ljubljana: Velika Planina (in Stahovica), Bled (Room Escape Games & Straža Bled) and Church of St. Jacob (in Ribno). Spend the 14th (Sun) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Dedicate the 15th (Mon) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: walk around Tivoli Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. Nicholas, and explore the world behind art at National Gallery.

Brussels, Belgium to Ljubljana is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. While traveling from Brussels, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Ljubljana, ranging from highs of 31°C to lows of 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Podčetrtek.
