The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
On the 18th (Mon), admire the sheer force of Mostnica Gorge, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vogel, then glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bohinj.

Piran — 3 nights

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Step out of the city life by going to Portorož Beach and Svetilnik Beach. Explore hidden gems such as Strunjan Nature Reserve and Praetorian Palace. Step out of Piran with an excursion to Škocjan Caves in Škocjan--about 44 minutes away. There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, make a trip to Tartini Square, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and stroll through Zusterna Beach.

Drive from Bohinjsko Jezero to Piran in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Bohinjsko Jezero in July: high temperatures in Piran hover around 35°C and lows are around 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Thu) so you can drive to Ljubljana.
