The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.Get some historical perspective at Bled Castle and Škofja Loka Castle. Get some cultural insight at Bled Island and Outdoor Museum Kolovrat (muzej na prostem). Get out of town with these interesting Bled side-trips: Bohinjsko Jezero (Ukanc Military Cemetery, Savica Waterfall, &more), Bovec (Boka Waterfall, Virje Waterfall, &more) and Kozjak Waterfall (in Kobarid). Spend the 10th (Sat) exploring nature at Triglav National Park. There's still lots to do: hike along Vintgar Gorge, take some stellar pictures from Mala Osojnica, take in the dramatic scenery at Peričnik Falls, and take in the dramatic natural features at Tolmin Gorge.
