At the very heart of picturesque Soca Valley, Kobarid delivers some of the most stunning views of Slovenia's highest peaks, as well as a chance to enjoy some exciting alpine rivers.
Mount Triglav has been added to your itinerary. Visiting Zipline and Soča Valley will get you outdoors. Do some cultural sightseeing at Kobarid Museum and Outdoor Museum Kolovrat (muzej na prostem). Venture out of the city with trips to Virje Waterfall (in Bovec) and Log Pod Mangartom Military Cemetery (in Log pod Mangartom). There's still lots to do: take in the dramatic scenery at Kozjak Waterfall, delve into the distant past at Tolmin Castle, take in the dramatic natural features at Tolmin Gorge, and hike along Krampež Waterfall.

Portorož

A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Predjama Castle and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Get some cultural insight at Vino Zorz and Mediadom Pyrhani. When in Portorož, make a side trip to see Škocjan Caves in Škocjan, approximately Škocjan away. There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Portorož Beach, don't miss a visit to Tartini Square, walk around Sečovlje Salina Nature Park, and take in the exciting artwork at Loza Gallery.

Bled

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Escape the urban bustle at Bled Island and Zipline. Bled Castle and Church of St John the Baptist will appeal to history buffs. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bled: Kranjska Gora (Vršič Pass & Lake Jasna), Rinka Waterfall (in Solčava) and Bohinjsko Jezero (Savica Waterfall, Vogel, &more). The adventure continues: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, hike along Vintgar Gorge, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Martin's Parish Church, and contemplate the long history of Old Town Centre of Radovljica.

You can drive from Portorož to Bled in 2 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or do a combination of bus and train. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Portorož in September; daily highs in Bled reach 24°C and lows reach 11°C.
