A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Predjama Castle and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Get some cultural insight at Vino Zorz and Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower. When in Portorož, make a side trip to see Škocjan Caves in Škocjan, approximately Škocjan away. The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Escape the urban bustle at Bled Island and Parasailing & Paragliding. Bled Castle and Old Town Centre of Radovljica will appeal to history buffs.
