Near the Italian border, Dobrovo remains a small settlement in a region known for its hilly orchards, vineyards, and olive groves.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Wed): explore the historical opulence of Vipolže Villa, don't miss a visit to Šmartno, then examine the collection at Dobrovo Castle, and finally learn about winemaking at Vinoteka Brda. Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
