Ljubljana — 2 nights

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Velika Planina. Go for a jaunt from Ljubljana to Škofja Loka to see Škofja Loka Castle about 38 minutes away. Spend the 27th (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Brussels, Belgium to Ljubljana is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Expect a bit warmer weather when traveling from Brussels in July: highs in Ljubljana hover around 32°C, while lows dip to 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Piran.
