You can take a train from Bled to Tolmin in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Bled in July, expect a bit warmer with lows of 20°C in Tolmin. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Koper.

Koper

A bridge between the Mediterranean and alpine regions of Slovenia, Koper is a small town with big appeal.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Tartini Square and Strunjan Nature Reserve. When in Koper, make a side trip to see Predjama Castle in Postojna, approximately Postojna away. And it doesn't end there: Head underground at Škocjan Caves, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, learn more about the world around you at Magical World of Shells Museum, and make a trip to Walls of Piran.

Ljubljana

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Attractions like Ljubljana Old Town and Ljubljana Castle make great kid-friendly stops. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ljubljana: Postojna (Planina Cave & Postojna Cave) and Solčava (Logar Valley Landscape Park & Rinka Waterfall). Next up on the itinerary: snap pictures at Triple Bridge, glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of St. Nicholas, and contemplate the waterfront views at Ljubljanica River.

Drive from Koper to Ljubljana in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Koper in July, expect Ljubljana to be a bit cooler, temps between 32°C and 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Sun) so you can catch the flight back home.
