Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Step out of the city life by going to Škocjan Caves and Portorož Beach. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Strunjan Nature Reserve and Magical World of Shells Museum. There's lots more to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, make a trip to Tartini Square, take a leisurely stroll along Port Piran, and stroll through Svetilnik Beach.
