Getting from Bovec to Portorož by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a bus; or take a bus. Traveling from Bovec in July, expect Portorož to be somewhat warmer, temps between 35°C and 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Ljubljana.
