Bohinjsko Jezero — 1 night

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Fri): see the sights as you ascend with a climbing tour, then admire the sheer force of Mostnica Gorge, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Planina Zajamniki. A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
You'll get in some beach time at Portorož Beach and Koper City Beach. Visit St. George's Church and Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower for their historical value. When in Portorož, make a side trip to see Škocjan Caves in Škocjan, approximately Škocjan away. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Strunjan Nature Reserve, make a trip to Tartini Square, stroll through Svetilnik Beach, and admire the striking features of Praetorian Palace.
