The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Visit Bled Island and Old Town Centre of Radovljica for their historical value. Kids will appreciate attractions like Lake Bohinj and Parasailing & Paragliding. Get out of town with these interesting Bled side-trips: Kranjska Gora (The Russian Chapel, Vršič Pass, &more), Planica Nordic Centre & Zipline (in Rateče) and Bohinjsko Jezero (Golden Horn Fairyland, Savica Waterfall, &more). Lille, France to Bled is an approximately 7-hour combination of train and flight. You can also drive; or take a train. When traveling from Lille in August, plan for a bit warmer days in Bled, with highs around 31°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 15°C.
