15 days in Bled & Piran Itinerary

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Get out of town with these interesting Bled side-trips: Bovec (Ravelnik Open Air Museum, Kayaking & Canoeing, &more), Soča (Great Soča Gorge & Church of St. Joseph) and Bohinjsko Jezero (Church of St John the Baptist, Lake Bohinj, &more). Spend the 5th (Sat) exploring nature at Triglav National Park. Berlin, Germany to Bled is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In July, daily temperatures in Bled can reach 32°C, while at night they dip to 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sun) so you can drive to Piran.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.

Drive from Bled to Piran in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Plan for a bit warmer nights when traveling from Bled in August since evenings lows in Piran dip to 20°C. On the 12th (Sat), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
