In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.

Bled

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Get out of town with these interesting Bled side-trips: Bohinjsko Jezero (Vogel, Savica Waterfall, &more) and Kranjska Gora (Ajdovska Deklica, Prisank Mountain Window, &more). The adventure continues: skim along the rocks with a canyoning and rapelling tour, get great views at Mala Osojnica, stroll through Triglav National Park, and pause for some serene contemplation at St. Martin's Parish Church.
