Bled

— 8 nights
The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Bled Island and Lake Bohinj. Get out of town with these interesting Bled side-trips: Kranjska Gora (Ajdovska Deklica, Lake Jasna, &more), Rateče (Planica Nordic Centre & Zipline & Three Country Border) and Bohinjsko Jezero (Church of St John the Baptist, Savica Waterfall, &more). Spend the 8th (Mon) exploring nature at Triglav National Park. The adventure continues: get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, get great views at Mala Osojnica, whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, and pause for some serene contemplation at St. Martin's Parish Church.

Plan my Bled trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Dusseldorf, Germany to Bled is an approximately 7-hour combination of flight, shuttle, and bus. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or drive. When traveling from Dusseldorf in August, plan for somewhat warmer days in Bled, with highs around 31°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Bovec.
