Get a sense of the local culture at St. George's Church and Mediadom Pyrhani. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Portorož Beach and Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower. When in Piran, make a side trip to see Škocjan Caves in Škocjan, approximately Škocjan away.
