The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bled: Planica Nordic Centre & Zipline (in Rateče), Kranjska Gora (Mojčin Dom na Vitrancu, The Russian Chapel, &more) and Peričnik Falls (in Mojstrana). Spend the 8th (Sat) exploring nature at Triglav National Park. There's much more to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Vintgar Gorge, explore the activities along Lake Bohinj, take some stellar pictures from Mala Osojnica, and whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks.

You'll lose 1 hour traveling from London to Bled due to the time zone difference. While traveling from London, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Bled, ranging from highs of 32°C to lows of 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sat) so you can drive to Bovec.

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.Get out of town with these interesting Bovec side-trips: Tolmin (Tolmin Castle & Tolmin Gorge), Planica Valley (in Rateče) and Nadiza (in Kranjska Gora). There's lots more to do: whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, trek along with Hiking & Camping Tours, trek along Krampež Waterfall, and explore the activities along Source of the Soča River.

Traveling by car from Bled to Bovec takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. In July in Bovec, expect temperatures between 29°C during the day and 15°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Wed) early enough to drive to Postojna.
