Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Ljubljana Old Town, Ljubljanica River and Watermelon Ljubljana by Bike. Take a break from the city and head to Postojna Cave and Škocjan Caves. Change things up with a short trip to Predjama Castle in Postojna (about 1 hour away). Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Strunjan Nature Reserve and Portorož Beach. Get outdoors at Svetilnik Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. There's lots more to do: view the masterpieces at Nika's Tiny House, get a taste of the local shopping with Manzioli Square, examine the collection at Tartini's House, and walk around Park Pietro Coppo.
