The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Take a break from the city and head to Vintgar Gorge and Zipline. Bring the kids along to Bled Castle and Bled Island. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bled: Bohinjsko Jezero (Lake Bohinj, Church of St John the Baptist, &more), Mostnica Gorge (in Stara Fužina) and Franja Partisan Hospital (in Cerkno). On the 28th (Fri), dedicate a day to the elevated beauty of Mount Triglav.
