Novo Mesto is the city on a bend of the Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Novo Mesto: Pleterje Open-Air Museum (in Šentjernej), Pivka (Pivka Park of Military History, Museo Militare Di Pivka, &more) and Brežice (Na Jasi, Brežice Castle, &more).
