Step out of Piran with an excursion to Škocjan Caves in Škocjan--about 44 minutes away. There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Tartini Square, view the masterpieces at Nika's Tiny House, learn about winemaking at Vinakoper, and stroll around Park Pietro Coppo.
