Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Ljubljana: Bled (Room Escape Games, Parasailing & Paragliding, &more), Postojna (Grotte di Postumia - Park Postojnska jama & Postojna Cave) and Vintgar Gorge (in Zgornje Gorje). Lyon, France to Ljubljana is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or drive. Traveling from Lyon in June, expect slightly colder with lows of 14°C in Ljubljana. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Sat) early enough to drive to Portorož.
